Most small fashion shoots land between $3,000 and $15,000, and a brand campaign day between $15,000 and $60,000 or more, according to a July 2026 pricing guide by a working fashion photographer [1]. A one-day indoor shoot of ten outfits comes to about $2,750 all-in, or about $45 per finished photo, in an August 2025 breakdown [3]. Below is the day priced line by line from four published guides, then the same ten outfits priced on Uwear with the reviewer and the retry ceiling included, and a plain statement of what the cheaper number does not buy.

The day, line by line

Ranges as the guides publish them. Where they disagree, the table shows each and the last column takes a mid-range day for a small brand. The guides are a fashion photographer's 2026 pricing guide [1], a product-photography studio's 2026 budget guide [2], an August 2025 breakdown from a fashion AI tool's blog [3], and a 2024 product photography pricing guide [4].

The useful number in that table is $45 per finished photo. It is what a competent one-day shoot costs per image once the crew is divided by the sixty images it produced, before rush fees, sample shipping, usage rights and the reshoot day nobody budgets for.

What the AI run needs: a product photo of each garment. A warehouse photo is enough.

Three photos per outfit: the front, an upper-body detail and the back, the last two as camera edits of the approved front photo. A credit is $0.10 [6] and the rate per photo depends on the image model [5]. Uwear does not quote a price per accepted image: the AI reviewer retries photos that drift from the product photo, retries consume credits, and the number depends on your garments. The run is priced before it starts with a ceiling on retries; the table uses 10 to 20% of photos retried.

LineBasisAmount
Ten outfits, three photos each30 generations at 3 credits (1K) or 5 credits (2K) [5]; a credit is $0.10 [6]$9 at 1K, $15 at 2K
AI reviewer1 credit per photo, optional [5]$3
Retries10 to 20% of photos, one retry each (assumption); the estimate before the run states a ceiling with every photo retried+$1 to +$3

Run total2K, reviewer on, 10 to 20% retriedabout $20
Run total with clips2K, reviewer on, 10 to 20% retried, a clip per outfitabout $43

Two things the table leaves out. You need a product photo of each garment, a flat lay, a packshot, a ghost mannequin shot or a supplier photo. And you need an hour to set the direction once, the model, the set, the light and the framing, and a few minutes to look at what the reviewer flags.

What the day buys that the run does not

The gap between $2,750 and $20 is real, and it is not the whole comparison. The studio day delivers the campaign moment, the fabric in motion, the photographer's eye on a garment that photographs badly, and a person on set who fixes a problem before it is a rejected file. Uwear's quality-difference article puts the same blouse and skirt on four image models next to the product photos and says where the studio still wins. The honest split: listing photos for every drop from the run; the twelve looks of the campaign from the day, paid once instead of every season.

Questions brands ask about photoshoot cost

How much does a small fashion photoshoot cost?

Published 2026 guides put most small fashion shoots between $3,000 and $15,000, and a one-day indoor shoot of ten outfits at about $2,750 all-in, roughly $45 per finished photo. The range depends on the photographer tier, whether a model and a stylist are on the call sheet, and how much retouching the images need.

How much does a fashion campaign shoot cost?

Brand campaigns run $15,000 to $60,000 or more per day in the July 2026 guide, and premium single days can exceed $25,000 to $100,000 in the April 2026 guide. A one-day regional campaign with two models is priced at about $20,650 in the July guide.

What does a fashion photo cost per image?

From the guides: product photography at $15 to $75 per shot, professional per-image pricing at $75 to $350, and a ten-outfit day working out at about $45 per finished photo once the crew is divided by the images. Retouching adds $5 to $20 per image for basic work and $50 to $150 for extensive work.

What do the same ten outfits cost on Uwear?

Ten outfits with three photos each is 30 generations: 90 credits or $9 at 3 credits a photo at 1K, $15 at 2K. The AI reviewer adds 1 credit per photo, $3, when it is on, and retries on 10 to 20% of photos add $1 to $3, so the ten outfits land around $20 at 2K, or about $43 with a 5-second clip per outfit at 23 credits each. The estimate shown before you approve states a ceiling with every photo retried. You still need a product photo of each garment and an hour to set the direction.

What does the studio day buy that the AI run does not?

The campaign moment, the fabric in motion, the photographer's eye on a garment that photographs badly, and a person on set who fixes a problem before it is a rejected file. For listing photos on a plain set the reviewer catches most of what a retoucher would; for the twelve looks of a campaign the day rate may still be the right spend, paid once instead of every drop.
