Virtual try-on

Virtual try-on is a digital experience that visualizes how a garment may look on a person, uploaded image, live camera view, or avatar. It creates an appearance preview; it does not by itself predict physical fit, comfort, or size unless those capabilities are modeled separately.

Context

Understand the term in production

Fashion virtual try-on can support discovery, styling, and purchase consideration by giving a shopper a more personal product view. The implementation may use image generation, augmented reality, 3D simulation, or a combination of techniques.

How it works

Follow the production logic

  1. 01

    Provide the person view

Use an uploaded image, camera feed, selected model, or avatar as the presentation context.

  2. 02

    Apply the garment

Render or generate the selected product while preserving relevant person and garment details.

  3. 03

    Present the result clearly

Show the visualization with appropriate guidance about what the experience can and cannot infer.
