Still-to-video

Still-to-video is a generation method that creates a moving sequence from one or more static images. The source image can act as the first frame or a visual reference while the system infers motion, camera behavior, and additional frames that were not present in the still.

Context

Understand the term in production

For fashion, the source may be an approved PDP or campaign image used to create a short loop, model movement, product turn, or social cut. Motion introduces new opportunities for product, body, identity, and background drift, so the full clip needs review.

How it works

Follow the production logic

  1. 01

    Choose the source frame

Start from an approved image with the product detail, composition, and identity worth preserving.

  2. 02

    Direct the movement

Describe subject motion, camera motion, duration, pace, framing, and any elements that must remain fixed.

  3. 03

    Review over time

Inspect the whole clip for garment, anatomy, identity, lighting, and background continuity.
